This my visit to the only McDonalds in Florida with the self-service kiosk. I think that this is the fast food answer for $15/hour stuff. Maybe the people that are left will get $15, others will be unemployed. h/t to Shirley Husar - Urban Game Changer! Update: These kiosks are everywhere now. All McDonald's in Tampa has them. The jury is still out as I still see people "belly up to the bar" to order. The prediction of mass firings has not happened as the customers' habits have not changed. We still have our eye on the story. Update: After the election of Joe Biden there has been more push to increase the federal Minimum wage to $15.00/hour. This would put pressure on businesses that are struggling to recover from Covid-19 lock downs all over the nation.
